About Rubani Sacco

Rubani Sacco was founded in October 2013 with the aim of empowering aviation professionals through affordable and dependable financial services. We officially started member contributions in February 2014.

Today, we proudly serve over 300 members including Pilots, Engineers, Cabin Crew, and aviation staff from JKIA, Wilson Airport, and international bases such as Doha.

Credit services are intended to enable members to borrow against their savings. RUBANI SACCO has repackaged and introduced the following growth oriented individual loan products that members may obtain at competitive interest rates. The members may obtain the following loans depending on their capacity and the ability to service the loans. The proposed loan products have also taken into account the existing RUBANI SACCO products with a view to ensuring harmony in operations. The Society shall mainly grant the following types of loans:

Development Loan

Interest Rate: 1% per month
Repayment Period: 48 Months

Ab Initio Loan

Interest Rate: 1% per month
Repayment Period: 48 Months
(For members with an existing Ab Initio loan only)

Education Loan

Interest Rate: 1% per month
Repayment Period: 36 Months

Emergency Loan

Interest Rate: 1.15% per month
Repayment Period: 4 Months
Maximum Amount: KSh 300,000

Savings Boost

Interest Rate: 5% (one-off)
Deducted from the loan applied.

Instant M-Loan

Interest Rate: 4% per month
Repayment Period: 2 Months
Maximum Amount: KSh 140,000
